What is Sedona?
A private, all-in-one finance app. Trade, earn, and spend, without your activity being a public record.
On most chains, every trade you make is broadcast publicly before it confirms
WHY PRIVACY MATTERS HERE
Anyone watching can see which wallet you are, what you're trading, how much, and the order you're trading in. That information gets used against regular users: front-running, sandwich attacks, position copying, MEV. The whole class of problems comes from one root cause. Activity is visible before it settles.
On Sedona, transaction details are encrypted in transit and processed inside a hardware-enforced enclave on Seismic's validator nodes. Validators see only ciphertext. There's nothing to copy, front-run, or sandwich.
Who Sedona is for
- People who trade often enough that MEV and front-running cost them real money.
- People who don't want their balances and trades to be a public record.
- People who want one app for trading, earning, and spending, not three.
What Sedona is not
| A custody service. | You hold your own funds. |
| A way to evade regulation. | Privacy is about pre-confirmation activity, not anonymity from law. |
| A token launchpad. | Nor a governance protocol. No Sedona token at testnet, none planned at launch. |
